The Taiohi website is no longer available
Kia ora,
The Taiohi magazine and the website have given a lot of rangatahi some great inspiration and practical tips over the years. We’ve been proud to bring you stories about the amazing Māori role models who’ve featured in our issues and we’ve enjoyed receiving your stories and feedback.
Taiohi, which is part of the Te Mana campaign, will finish at the end of June 2009. We will not be developing future issues of the Taiohi magazine and www.taiohi.co.nz will go offline. The Ministry of Education is looking into ways it can support parents, families and whānau in the future.
You’ll still be able to find some inspirational stories, download a copy of the latest Study Guide for free and find useful information at www.temana.co.nz. If you don’t have a computer at home, you should be able to check out and print these pages from your school or local library.
Kia kaha tonu koe ki te whai i te iti kahurangi.
Stay strong and follow your dreams.
Mauri ora,
Sandi B.
